elcome to the second annual Canadian Occupational Safety Readers' Choice Awards.
In the following pages, you will fi nd the occupational health and safety vendors
and suppliers that our readers selected as their favourites.
This special section has been designed to highlight these extraordinary fi rms
— the ones our readers think are the very best at what they do. More than 100 companies
were honoured in 54 different categories. That means we've covered the gamut in terms of the
products and services you're looking for — including forklift training, mobile apps, cutting
safety, professional development, lockout/tagout and wellness. The list goes on and on.
A big thanks goes out to our loyal readers for taking the time to fi ll out the lengthy ballot.
Once again, we were overwhelmed by the participation — 40,000 votes were cast in total. This
level of engagement from Canada's health and safety community adds even more cachet and
bragging rights for the winning fi rms. After all, these companies weren't chosen by a handful of
judges behind a closed door.
Instead, we set up a digital survey and sent an invitation to our audience to vote — to tell us
the companies they like doing business with and the ones that provide really good value. This
guide is designed to be used by you, our readers, as a cheat sheet. It's like having a window into
the offi ces of your colleagues at offi ces, factories, construction sites and more across the country.
When you're looking for a service provider, look for the Readers' Choice seal. It's not an
endorsement from the editors of Canadian Occupational Safety — it's something far better. It's a
seal of approval from other professionals who are facing the same challenges as you.
Quick note about the listings: Every fi rm listed here is a winner. They are not ranked — rather
they are listed in alphabetical order by category. You'll see some fi rms have logos, and expanded
information about their products and services. These fi rms chose to celebrate this honour from
you with an enhanced listing.
