Neil Campbell is Co-chair of McMillan's Competition and International Trade groups
and a member of the Energy group. His competition law practice focuses on merger clear-
ances under the Competition Act; reviews under the Investment Canada Act; representa-
tion in cartel, abuse of dominance and other competition law proceedings; and advising
on marketing, distribution, grey marketing and joint-venture issues. His trade law practice
includes anti-dumping and subsidy proceedings; NAFTA and WTO matters; export/
import controls and trade sanctions; foreign corrupt practices and investor-state disputes.
His energy law practice focuses on the electricity sector and he is the past Chair of the
market monitor for Ontario's wholesale electricity markets. Campbell has particularly ex-
tensive experience in the fi nancial services, pharmaceuticals and chemicals, food and bev-
erage, natural resources, broadcasting, entertainment, transportation, and information
technology industries. He is ranked as one of the "Top 30 Global Competition Lawyers"
